LP 98-132 & Pirating

LP 98-132 & Pirating

I was in SC headed towards Freeport to deliver some supplies to the locals, when all of a sudden I get hailed by another CMDR. I was actually really overly excited about it. I've been reading about all the pirates on this forum that call LP 98-132 their home and was eagerly looking forward to a little role playing and to telling whoever it was to "kick rocks pirate!" but as soon as I opened comms with him he began his interdiction and I had to fight to remain in supercruise. I won that round but as soon as I did I lost comms with whoever it was and he didn't show up a second time. Whoever that was, if you're out there, slow down a bit and let it play out first before you begin your interdiction. I have to admit I'm half tempted to go back and fly around there just to see if it happens again. For the 30 seconds it lasted it was definitely a thrill. Salute!

And this time I'll be carrying superconductors and palladium. Good luck!

Anyone who is about to travel inside LP98-132 or similar anarchy systems should be prepared for such events. This is Anarchy. This is piracy. No matter what size of ship you fly. there is no codex and it aint griefing. If you come to "our" systems you must prepare to pay.

OpenPlay is the real game !

Always great to read about another commander who isn't afraid of a little piracy. Also, you weren't able to open communications with him after the interdiction attempt because it reverted him to normal space when he failed to interdict you.
