LTD subsurface mining

I've been going around searching for LTDs subsurface deposits in triple LTD hotspots, but I've been grinding for about 6 hours without having found a SINGLE LTD subsurface deposit. Now- I rarely stumble upon deep core LTD asteroids, that yield about 15 LTDs, but I can't seem to find any of those subsurface deposits! Is it that I picked the wrong rock from the pulse wave results? Is there a rock pattern for subsurface LTDs in an icy ring? I've been hitting 80% full yellow asteroids and I've only found water, tritium and methane. If there's a pattern for it, I'm begging you to tell me what it is, what those rocks are supposed to look like or even their color tones!

LTD's got nerfed. I mined for just over an hour today. Found maybe 3 surface deposits. The rest were cores.

Probably you are doing it wrong. After the nerf I managed to collect 216T in 35-40min. (Before the patch it was under 20min.) Im still using triple hotspot but dropping in LTDhotspot's exact center (btw, middle one of 3LTD)

I think Frontier have broken it I dropped in a single hot spot right in the centre no over lap and couldn't find 1 single LTD everything was Tritium and I mean everything tried 2 other spots same result there was subsurface but all Tritium...

Yes, I am struggling finding sub-surface items now - it seems the prevalence (frequency) of both sub-surface and core deposits have been reduced.

cant have easily maintainable carriers, that would not be in the sprit our unique it's fun to endlessly grind repeat gameplay
LTD should make no nore than a 100 credits per ton ;)
ironically this market is just as fake as the real world diamond market , I find it utterly ridiculous that supposedly rare diamonds that are actually formed from "common coal" are thought to be more precious than a material that can actually only be formed in the heart of a supernova namely gold.
Eventually maybe one day peeps will realize that they mine then securely re bury the uncut diamonds not by the ton, but by the sea container's worth to keep them rare and the global price sky high.
when it comes to artificial scarcity the common as coal CARBON diamond is the undisputed king and mossad will do anything to insure it stays that way
I much preferred the mysterious void opal as being the no 1 rare item made from a process of a particular radiation from black holes or something which are usually quickly destroyed by what makes them making them extremely rare :ROFLMAO: (oddly the mayfly was the name of the ship that first discovered them)

Thank you all for your replies!

I have found that only what seems like specific rocks spawn subsurface LTDs, and it explains why I've gone hundreds of limpets and a dozen hour without having found a single one. I guess the E G G truly is the only way.
