Newcomer / Intro LTT 15449 (Barry Terminal)

Um what's the deal with this destination?

I get there, time my supercruise exit perfectly, and at max thrusters, am still falling away from the terminal.
So I enter supercruise, get close again, exit perfectly, and again am falling away from the terminal.

I do this about 5 times - with a SAVE / EXIT - and still, every time I exit supercruise, I'm falling way behind.

Side note, fearing my stay in 15449 would invite unwanted guests, I head to my port of departure, and of course in my departure system i do get interdicted.. I manage to outrun the encounter however.

I've never heard of this.

Are you sure you are engaging forward thrust and not reverse?

Hit the 'X' key (to bring your ship to a complete stop). Is the station moving away from you? Can you see the station in front of you even?

the station is probably orbiting the wrong body (or the supercruise exit's frame of reference is)

I have seen happen to a NAV beacon

just ticket it

Fairly certain I'm in forward motion since I was thus so when I originally entered frame shift, leaving my departure system.

Well this time around all went smoothly.

Dunno if it was due to exiting the game, or more likely, leaving and reentering the system.

I think some of them pilots who have issues landing might take note here cuz "if there's one thing I know how to do is to drive while I'm ******" - haha!
