Lucas still missing?

Read the 3303 June issue of the Maia paper today (remind me not to buy a subscription....) skipped past the sports section and looked at the missing persons. an explorer by the name of Lucas K. went missing with supposed significant discovery in one of the HIP systems.

This was 9 months ago.... Have not heard a word of him since. I have taken off to look for him in the system. found an old listening post that hasn't been updated from the same time (what are we living in the 3200's now?!) and found his last recorded location was planet 3b of the system. he went to help someone without any fuel before he reported glitches apparently.

Has he been found yet? and are his discoveries still a mystery?

I have a feeling the past 9 months may not of treated him well though.... but there may be hope yet!

I can't find any mention of this or Lucas K, it does sound intriguing.

just dock at Obsidian Orbital in Maia ( it has been repaired)
read Maia 26 Jun news : Luca Rekivek was on his way from HIP 16378 as he made a significant discovery at an unknown location
go to system HIP 16378 and scan Listening becon . you can find it as soon as you enter system
search 3b planet for crash site

I tried to find something on 3B last summer too, but as I wasn't sure of what exactly I was looking for and if it was merely a POI, I eventually abandoned the search. Even if 3B is relatively small, it's bloody huge to find a ship or what on it.

In other news I was on my way to Maia early this morning to read the message when, with three jumps to go, I got interdicted by an angry red Thargoid and blown up!
I had some alien items on board so I'm guessing that's what got him angry as I started to run as soon as my FSD was up.

Yes, Nick, you shouldn't go around Pleiades space with Alien stuff in your compartments. That's looking for trouble. Just like poking about with an uninsulated screwdriver in a live switchboard.
