Was out in the far end of the bubble, exploring and gathering data. Jumped to the next system and noticed the 'FUEL LOW' warning. I'm in the middle of nowhere, the 'ar$e-end' of the galaxy and no fuel scoop!

I look around and see that by total luck, this system actually has an outpost!

*deep breath* Relax...

This happened to me, but no outpost handy. So I tried the distress beacon for the first time and an NPC ship immediately appeared and filled up my tanks for 300cr. I would have felt lucky at twice the price.

I'm glad the distress beacon feature works, because I haven't tried it yet. I nearly got caught out with no feul, but I managed to just make it to a station.
