Lucrative piracy

I would really like to see a feature where pvp is actually a lucrative thing. beeing able to transfer money to players for instance, like in eve online is something i would support.
Currently money in the game has not so much of use anyway aside from rebuys and stocking up modules.

Having piracy as a real career in open play would generate more gameplay. And no im not talking griefing or ganking. but actually pirating a ship for profit.
More pvp groups will be created i suspect, anti piracy groups vs pirates. with nice wing battles.

just a suggestion

But there is a piracy in Elite and it is lucrative. Both against players and NPCs. A lot of times I run myslef into a player who was a "by the book" pirate and asked gently for my cargo ;)
There are few know-hows also how to get 100 mlns and more per hour when pirating NPCs. Anti-pirate wings are also a common thing during CGs.

Money is means of exchange. You uses it to purchase commodities on the market, which are then sold more hopefully a profit. Ships are purchased. Yes it should be possible to become a pirate lord. The game should be open only an not allow 'pirates' to skulk off into solo. Not sue why its assumed 'pirate' will always be superior to other ships in a encounter. Wealth transfer between players is undertake via gold. Cr wont happen.

I totally didnt understand anything you said starman.

Aside from the other comments, I purely meant pvp piracy and not this NPC pirating stuff....wich I personally just find , less appealing and no thrill.
Pirating should not be made easy , but I believe should be an optional career path. Some people like to play the good guys and some people like to play the bad guy...
For instance there should be a more rewarding option to go to anarchy systems in open, at the risk of beeing pirated, and pirates therefor shouldnt be able to enter policed systems freely....

Credit transfer is an option because you can ransom someones ship or belongings. And is a much faster transaction than cargo dropping/stealing.
I know there is little to no chance of this happening , but im suggesting it anyway , in the hope there might come better or adjusted ideas about the topic.

Like I said most of my post require an understanding of multi dimensional/universe physics. When you say you don't understand you mean what you do understand you don't agree with. You mentioned 'career' such as defined in game that combat exploration trading allow for rank progression. 'Pirate Lords' represent the top end of a similar kind progression. Currently its possible for pirate to hide out in solo thus preventing the bounty hunter/pirate dynamic working properly. I have a suspicion that 'pirate' online are 'good guys' in real life. There is much duality in humans.

Is this what pirates do when they get together?
