Lugh...Looking for a few good pilots!

Lugh is looking for pilots. Pilots that understand the ideals of fighting for their self determination. Their freedom. Pilots that are willing to give their all to a cause, bigger than themselves, on behalf of billions of residents that have suffered under the rule of the Federation for generations.

The Crimson State Group, and the Lugh Freedom Fighters have remained quiet since the War for Lugh Independence, fought in March this year. Unfortunately, this was a necessity, born out by the continuous assault of players against the system everyone freed. Having completed our current act, the investment of Billions of credits into the Alliance Power, run by PM Mahon, we can now work more openly...and ask for people that are interested in joining in our good works.

If the words, unconventional, assymetric, and Lughnacy, have a deep seated meaning to how you wish to meet the galaxy, we hope you will reach out to contact us. You sound like our kind of pilot.

As always, may Lugh be your light in the black, your warmth in the coldest of places, and his mighty spear guide your aim in your quests against your foes.

Once again, the Crimson State Group makes the mistake of thinking that it speaks for all of Lugh. It does not. The people of Lugh did not elect the CSG as their voice, the majority did not wish to be independent from the Federation, and they certainly don't wish to trade Federation democracy for a local dictatorship.

Do not be taken in by these lies! The Federation is not an evil dictatorship hell bent on grasping every system in the universe into its vice-like grip; we are not the Empire! The CSG are merely working under the pretense of "freedom" and "independence" in order to blind its people to the truth. Not everybody who stands upon a soapbox and preaches about freedom has your best interests at heart...ask yourselves, who stands to gain by this whole campaign for so-called independence?

If we fail to contain the Cerberus virus, it may well be a moot point who has control. Not much point controlling a quarantined system. Maybe you guys should be shipping Heike Ceremonial Tea to Bast to make sure we beat the virus.

The 'campaign' is over. It was started with a +90% approval rating by the Lugh population. We have won our right to be a free and independent system. The constant incursions since we won our war of independence in March by the Federation is based purely on retribution.

<Role Play off>

We have tried to get FDev to fix the galactic map and it remains borked. As far as lore is concerned we are an independent, free, unaffiliated system. The war that we fought in March concluded this status.

Our current move into PP and the Mahon power was precipitated by the constant attacks by Federation players over the past 4-5 months culminating with the recent PP attack by the Winters power (this was started 3-4 weeks ago). The constant grind necessary to prevent this was something we decided to avoid, our entry into PowerPlay allowed us to be able to better plan our activities by making the amount needed to remain within the Power a known quantity.

We will look into this issue shortly. Although we are aware of the problem, our more immediate needs were to establish a more controllable way for us to maintain Lugh. The constant care that Lugh has required since our war of independence has precluded our actions to remain publicly viewable or our activities to stray to far from the vicinity of the Lugh system.

Our sincere hope is that we can come to the aid of the galaxy on issues of this scope.

This hope can be realized quicker with more pilots pledging themselves to help CSG with our goals.

This my friends is why we need help. Many in the Federation feel they have the right to our system. They are currently attacking many of our affiliated systems around Lugh and trying to opress these systems once again.

At one point, Arth, I Carinae, Belarsuk, and even Khaka...the stronghold of the Federtation during the War in Lugh, all were freed from the grasp of the tyrannical hold the Federation held on them.

We will return these systems to their desire for Independence. This movement, and future ones, can occur much quicker if we had more pilots to help this cause!

Our goals are to bring Freedom to as many of our neighboring systems as possible. Any pilot, new or Veteran, Private or Open, Computer or Console, is welcome to join us and help us with our fight for those wishing to breathe the atmosphere of freedom from, rather than servitude under, the boot and heel of the Federation.
