LV-436 the alien planet

No point in finding LV-436. ;)

The Nostromo landed on LV-426, which orbits the star, Acheron (in Alien lore). This is not a real star.

Doesn't stop the devs putting the planet LV-426 in the game somewhere, though ;)

Well its LV-426 for one thing, - and is supposed to be a moon of the fourth planet orbiting zeta reticuli 2

So pop open Zeta Reticuli in the galaxy map and see if its there! And if there's no data fly out there and find out. I'm thinking an easter egg this big would've been found and reported already if FD did in fact put it in.

ok,thx for the info...it would be cool if they did put this in the game, maybe land on the planet and find the bones of hicks and hudson

LV-426 itself was sometimes called Acheron - Zeta Reticuli 2 is the real-world location of the fictional moon.

Okay so I'm nit picking but didn't Hudson get vaporized by the reactor explosion and as Hicks didn't die on the planet sorry, no bones.

I pulled that info from stuff I read many years ok, without refreshing my memory via wikia. I'm happy with what I remembered :)

Yeah that's pretty damn good tbh - !

Just a note, - in order to find Zeta Reticuli in Elite, you have to either type in the 1 star's HIP of 15330 or write out Zeta-1 Reticuli with the dash.

There's other threads on the forums about this, - and visitors to Zeta Reticuli have found no fourth planet of the second star, let alone a moon of such.
