Engineers Lvl 5 reached?

Hello,

I have a simple question. I've engineered my ASPX (FSD and others) to the highest level (5), but I'm not sure if I've done it under the 'old' engineers or the new ones.

How can I notice this?

In the 'info' box of my fsd it's shown Lvl 5.

If I've engineerd the fsd to lvl 5 under the old engineers, is it shown lvl 4 under the new one?

I'm confused.

The only way I know of is to take the ship to an engineer and try to engineer the module. If it is maxed out, it will show. If it was maxed out under the old rules, it will show as a legacy module, and you can convert it to the new standard -- however, that will leave it as a maxed-out module of level 4!

It won't show as level 4 if it's old, old upgrades stayed as they are.

All G5 FSDs under the new system have identical mods, so just compare yours to https://inara.cz/galaxy-blueprint/2/. If it's not exactly that it'll be old. If you happen to have an old one that just happens to be identical to the new stats take a screenshot and show everyone.

Your FSD will always show as G5 if you engineered it to level 5, regardless of new or old system.



But if you have an old upgraded module, and go to an engineer to have it converted to the new system, you will loose one level, so a G5 old module converted to the new system will be G4, but this is an action you have to trigger.
