Madagascar Pack

I think as an alternative it would be cool to have a 7 + 1 islands animal pack with animals from e.g. Madagascar, Sulawesi, New Guinea, New Zealand and Tasmania.
Could be a really cool pack and give us some popular species:
  • Fossa
  • Sifaka
  • Tasmanian devil
  • Tasmanian common wombat
  • Northern brown kiwi
  • Lowland Anoa
  • Goodfellow's tree kangaroo
  • Panther chameleon (exhibit)
I totally support this but would swap out the Sifaka for the aye aye (because I love ‘em). Also wombat for Red bellied pademelon or the spotted quoll, since they’re endemic species, whereas the wombat is a subspecies and I’d prefer the whole species, rather than a subspecies be added (in a second Oceania pack).

I think it's a personal thing. I would prefer the sifaka over the aye-aye because I think sifakas are really cool and fascinating animals.
But the quoll is a good idea, I didn't think about that species.

I think madagascar is really just personal preference. I feel like the main contenders for a third lemure spot are representatives from the other two big groups, like the aye aye, sifaka or my personal pick the greater dwarf lemure. The only two madagascasi animal everyone agrees to be wanting the most are a chameleon and the fossa

The perfect Madagascar pack for me would be:

1. Fossa - fossa hungry, fossa eat
2. Fanaloka - greetings, Julian, it's Karl...
3. Aye-aye - lemur stinkbombs
4. Coquerel's sifaka - a hopping lemur. I 1st saw them in the Disney movie Dinosaur (2000)
5. Chameleon (E) - any species, but panther is the best

Oh and personally, if we get more lemures i really dont want another true lemur if we dont get the others first.
Dont get me wrong, many of them are common in captivity and everything, but its just a really boring choice, especally when we can have some more unique species from one of the ecosystems with the most unique species.
Same reason im not to thrilled for a mongoose from madagascar, as the indian mongoos or dwarf mongoose would be a better fit for more representation and being far more common in zoos.

This aged like milk. Now that we got a third true lemure and one i originally didnt like for such a pack, as it closely resembles the red ruffed lemure, i couldnt be more happy. Who would have thought, that this would be our aniversary gift a few months ago?

Also besides of todays star, i also grew fond of another true lemure that i would love to see in the game, easily knocking out the crowned lemure from my list and even making it into a 4+1 pack. Overall im still quite happy with the list i made, eventhough animals like the aye aye and the radiated tortoise are also great contenders.
But talking about the black lemure, i love the fact that they have two colormorphs with black males and brown females and that they would add a species to the north west of the island. Right now, the red lemure lives on the north east, the black and white on the east and the ringtailed in the south, giving us a lemur for each compass direction.
So yeah, i love these guys now, i went from saying "nah no more true lemures" to having one as my most wanted malagasy animal. How the tides can turn
