Made it to Earth in my DK2

Today I stumbled upon Earth in my trusty Cobra Mk III, after many, many interdictions . As you can see from the screen grab, this shot is from the moon with Earth in the background.

I'm now settled for the night at 'Lincoln Abraham' Station ready for some missions when I awake.


After shutting down the PC, I actually looked up at the clear sky whilst in my garden just to see if I can see Lincoln Abraham station, how sad is that!

OT: did you try Euro truck simulator with your G27 and DK2? I have G25 and was wondering what games can be interesting with that + DK2. Heard of ETS2 works nicely.

Yes I have ETS2, with the G27 and DK2 it is great!

Made it to Sol last night as well in my trust hauler. Made quite a few exploration dings as well. I haven't explored the solar system yet, just Abe station and Gorbachov.. but so far, not much here.

My next destination is Sagitarrius A star.. I hope I can do enough missions and trade to come up with the credits to get an Asp explorer, or ideally.. an Anaconda

From what I understood from the Devs, even though you theoretically can jump all the way in to the center, you wouldn't necessarily make it all the way in there, as it it would get far too hot for your ship to survive.

That said, I'm curious what actually happens, and how far in you could go

The other good DK2 game that people forget is Alien: Isolation. It takes a tweak to make it work but when it does.. dude you will pooh in your drawers it's so scary!

I got to Sol a few days ago and am currently Friendly to the Federal Congress, and hopefully soon to be freindly with Mother Gaia! Well, maybe not soon, because I've since departed the system to make my way to Empire space to raise some hell

I made 600,000 in my hauler just buzzing around Sol and its neighbors doing missions and trading. Probably not the fastest way to earn money, but not the slowest.

I'd rather stick with Euro truck simulator than Alien cant play it on flat screen so OR would be impossible.
