Maher Un-ID Signal Source

Hmmm... the Unidentified Signal Source at the Maher red star is too close to the star and you cannot get to it in SC. Is this intentional?

and another one that is near that, the signal of i bootis C i guess, was strange.


it is a navigation beacon, that when you get near at 2km, it reappears much farther at 6km ; that in loop....

Yeah, the Maher signal is too close to the star (brown dwarf?), the closest you can get is .2 or so light seconds. There's no way you're going to get to it at subsonic speeds (none of the ships would even break the sound barrier at sea level in sublight drive). It's broken.
