If a person wants to do some trading between quota cooldowns and the trading involves an industrial to agricultural station, Mahon offers a better bonus to independents than federals/imperials.

The reason for allegiance is for players who are hostile to the Federation. It can be difficult to dock when security forces fire on you as you approach a hostile station.

The Mahon trading bonus applies to all profits, not just those from agricultural goods. As we're currently ranked 3rd, that's a 10% bonus to all profits you get within a Mahon controlled or exploited system, and could go as high as 20% were we to climb higher in the rankings.
