Engineers Maia - The Ant Hill Mob reputation

Hi guys,

I recently came across Maia while looking for a hub for long range smuggling. I'm still neutral with the ruling faction (The Ant Hill Mob) which means I can see the missions they offer, but I cannot accept any of them because I need to be friendly (or whatever it is called there) at least.
How do I get reputation when the only missions of the faction are smuggling missions I cannot accept?

I so wish there was a station in Maia called Penelope's Pitstop.

Maybe they can rename Obsidian Station [big grin]. But that still won't get me any reputation.

Trade will boost your reputation with a faction owning a market. So will handing in bounties or exploration data there.

I just gave up. I've tried trading as well as exploring and didn't see any progression. I'm still stuck at 85%. Looks like I'm back to bounty hunting now.
