Maintenance And Repair Prices Seem To Have Gone Up

In multiple types of ships, I have noticed that base maintenance prices have gone up by 10-40% this weekend.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Remember those costs are based on the original price of the module. More incentive to buy discounted, and to fly smaller craft.

I don't mind personally, maintenance costs are almost irrelevant and should be significant, flying in on a wing and a prayer after combat should be expensive.

It used to cost several million CR to bring a Conda hull back from 50%.

I haven't noticed. I top mine up often and my AspX is usually at 99% and less than 100 cr.

Can not confirm this but if it has you can thank at least one thread I read that the subject was about how low the costs were.

Perhaps the FDevs are listening (reading) .....

Totally agree, expensive ships must to have a expensive repair costs, and NEED to compensate the huge costs in performance (in any aspect) - TRade,Exploring and im combat, for sure!

Good.....and not before time. I have long said that it is far too easy to make, & keep, money in this game. Hopefully this marks a move back towards what it allegedly was in the testing period.

Almost six hours and nine replies, but has anyone actually confirmed this?

By now I figured the OP would have been able to test...

I would, but I'm a little over 18k ly out from the bubble at the moment.

For comparison's sake, does anyone have any hard numbers on repair costs last week that could be used to measure against?

Not Surprisingly, no
No confirmation but a lively debate on where this change which may or may not have actually happened is a good thing thing or not.
No doubt next step is people getting upset accusing the Devs of ruining the game
Then we will discover there has not actually been a change

Before you all jump to "big ship must be expensive" vagon, I would like to be given proper oportunity to earn all those moneyz while using them.

What do you mean, "there hasn't been a change?"

This has literally ruined my life. In fact, it is impossible for anyone to be happy with this rash decison by FD and if the Norks launch nukes, I think its safe to say it wouldn't be a coincedence.

I just noticed that using the Cobra 3, the maintenance costs went from 10 credits, to 14, for an in system hop, as one *very* small example. I'll know for sure when I break out Penny The Python, after tomorrow.

I say again, this is just what *I* had observed, not a declaration of an absolute. I also asked for others to check. It could be just a flaw in my client.

I loathe being honest. :(

That's why so many on this forum hate me, because I admit mistakes. :)
