Make a wall neatly meet a steep roof?

See below.

Is there a handy trick people use to cover up the gaps closest to the edge of the steep roof tiles? Not sure why they put this in the game with no walls to meet the edges. Any ideas? I tried searching around here, and couldn't find a topic on it.

And yes, it's the great hall from Hogwarts. I'm FINALLY remaking it. Here's the interior :D

Well, if there are no 4m triangular parts (I've never looked), then you would have 2 main options.

#1 is to use rectangular wall sections that stick up above the roof slope in a stairstep fashion, which is actually quite appropriate for some buildings (but I'm guessing not this one).

#2 is to use the flat art shapes to fill the triangular gaps. You'd probably have to use rectangles rotated so their long edges matched the roof slope and the rest was sunk into the gridded walls on the other 2 sides of the gap. Then cover this up as much as possible with all trim so that the high specularity of the art shapes isn't so obvious when the sun hits them from certain angles.

BTW, the interior is beautiful!

There are 4 m triangular walls, but not for all textures. (one big flaw in the game)

But for the Castle walls there is a 4m triangular wall available. Maybe you need to change the grid to 2m, to use the triangular walls.

So, I kinda figured it out. The trick is to create an overhanging awning and then fill it in with a rectangular piece. For the castle walls, I did a 2x2 decorative molding for the awning, then used the slim movable column piece that sort of comes to a peak, turned it backwards, and used that to fill it in, in-line with the wall pieces. Not perfect, but it looks fine. Still not sure why they didn't just put in wall pieces that match the roof pieces...

Andddd two more shots of it, because I'm super proud. I love the lattice work I was able to do in the viaduct courtyard. Looks like I have some errors I need to fix in one of them...

Thanks, all, for the suggestions!
