Make FSD more nimble and scan unknown signals for contents.

granted i have not flown the largest ship in the game, but i can imagine it handles exactly like my eagle in FSD, which feels like an over encumbered transport.
FSD is frustrating at worst, and boring at best. if i had my way, smaller ships would be much more agile in super cruise, and could stop quickly. in fact, i would add something similar to engine boost for super cruise... it would accelerate and decelerate you faster, but would generate heat. ALSO, i would fix the bars on the left, making them strech to speed. the SLOW DOWN indicator might as well be an LOL TURN AROUND indicator, too...

I get it. space is big. i want to feel like ive traversed it. but when i reach a system that has a station 500,000 ls out, i want think "hmm, how can i shave off a couple minutes" not "god, its going to take so long to get there, especially if i pass it trying to get there as fast as possible."

its tedious. it can be improved. end of FSD rant...

as for unknown signals (and other destinations) i would like to know what is there if i scan it from super cruise. i can scan other ships in super cruise, can i not scan the other instance because it's not created yet or something?

Not a terrible idea by any means. I wouldn't want it to read out say, the exact contents, but just something like the number of objects and the highest relative heat signature among them would be nice. So a cluster of lost cargo might show up as 5, Small, Cold. A Type 9 maybe 1, large, medium. Combat taking place something like 4, medium, hot. (Or even "Weapons discharge detected") Just that tiny bit of extra information would save a helluva lot of time, and I know I for one would buy a utility slot scanner to get it.
