General make it possible to use small ships in the fighters bay

Frontier wont impliment this on current ships.
The only way i seeing them doing something for this is if class 4 ships come out that can carry class 1 ships.

according to the lore the anaconda was supposed to be able to carry sidewinders but to my knowledge no the sidewinder is still larger than the hangar bay

I would trade that for multipurpose drones that hover around, follow the ship, and are able to attack, defend, mine, collect stuff, scan the area, etc... A proper exchange for the tiny, fragile limpets.

Nah, don't get the wrong impression OP. Probably quite a popular idea, but going 'against the lore!' generally gets the pitchforks and torches out.

dont get me wrong, i want the eagle as a deployable fighter too, but frontier wont impliment it unless they have a hanger that can actually physically hold it. which the eagle is incompatable with current hangars.
plus we dont know if they ever plan to make class 1 ships carryable fighters in the future.

What do you mean 'against the lore' ?

In original Elite the Anacondas did carry smaller craft around, called 'Worm class landing craft'. Of course, in that game the Cobra mk III was the only playable ship, and in FE2 & FFE that ability was lost. In FFE you could get your hands on Argent's Quest, a Turner class ship that had a special, armed, escape pod, called the 'Stowmaster Fighter'.
Then in E: D, Anaconda was originally supposed to be able to carry at least a Sidewinder, but we got SLFs instead.

So not Eagles then.
Currently no Worm class or otherwise available. I'm not against it.
