Make Paint Jobs recycling possible

Dear Frontier Developments,

after so many years of loyalty to this game, I managed to acquire a respectable amount of paint jobs. Often when I got a new ship, I bought one for it, proudly coloring my growing fleet. It yet happens often, that you release a new and way better looking paint job for a certain ship. So it is no surprise, that I buy this new paint job. But what happens to the old paint jobs? Well they lie there, burried deep in my livery option, unused by anyone. I would do anything to exchange them for some other paint jobs for another ship, or to gift them to my friend.

So, how can my wish become true, with everyone involved being happy?
This is really difficult, because those paint jobs are primarily helping Frontier Developments and supporting their work. So buying those paint jobs is something good, even if they aren’t used, right?
But what if I could recycle paint jobs to get some kind of, I don’t know, Frontier Store voucher. I could buy another paint job for less money. This way Frontier would make even more money, I would have more paint Jobs to use and everyone would be happy.

Gifting to a Friend, would be a bad idea for FDev. A small minority would actually gift them to friends. Most people would sell them on third party plattforms (like ebay), and gift them to the buyer. Especially premium paint jobs, like chrome or gold, would be sold extremely high. So, no Transfer between players.
The voucher option otherwise, would be only specific for the player who recycled his paint job, no unwanted transactions on shady plattforms.

„Alright, this is nice in theory commander, but how would you actually manage this? What about paint packs? Or special paints?“
Good question, easy solution.

1. Implement „My Elite: Dangerous Livery“ on your store page, where everyone is able to see every paint job they have available in game. Even black friday, corroded, ship kits, decals, engine colors and so on. Even if you won‘t make a recycling option, this would be pretty neat.
2. Place a „Recycle“-Button on every displayed paint Job.
3. Define the amount of money the paintjobs are worth. Here is an example:
b2naphY

Or maybe make the special paint jobs worth something?
f8O6u54

4. Credit the player the money, which can be used on the next order.

This way I can finally sell my Vibrant Python Pack and buy something for my Fer-De-Lance or something else.
