Make planet coaster even better game than it is now!

Hello !

I just wanted to tell you that I love your game, I find it awesome and beautiful! I spend so much time on it, I love it!
But unfortunately there are some things that I find unfortunate, which I think would add even more fun to the game!Already what would be needed, would be a redesign of the shadow system, so that it is really dark in the closed buildings, which will allow to make magnificent dark rides;
Then a seasonal system, where there would be more visitors during the summer season, and fewer during the winter season;
One of the important things for me too, would be to impose a little less limit on the thememakers toolkit, that would allow to make more creations!
Another addition that would make it possible to (re)come players, would be by offering free content updates;
Also other additions that would not be essential, such as adding a photo system, on roller coasters, or at points of interest, which would be grouped by family, or the switchable tracks to make several rails, and to enter or exit trains.A means of transport that took visitors to car parks, or hotels, and finally larger maps.

I am just proposing additions as a player, I don't know if this is possible, and if it is already planned or not or if other people have already offered this ? Even if without the additions, the game is already great! Looking forward to your response, have a good day and thank you very much!

A few things you talk about have been requested some time ago. There are some workarounds for a few things:

Darkrides: Yes Darkrides are not really "Dark" if they are just in a Building, even at night. There are two things you can do to remedy that:

The first one is using the Time Machine, which is basically a box you can link to a Sequencer to set the time and Day when the Ride Vehicle goes over a Trigger Point you have set on the Track. This of course will only work when you use the Camera Mode, and i think only when you use the POV Camera of the Ride, and not of the Peeps. But i am not 100% sure on that one right now.

The second Method, and arguably more work intensive is to put the Ride either in a Mountain or put it underground. Effectively covering the whole thing. Generally the more Terrain is over the Ride, the darker it will be inside. This is the Method i use most often since it makes the interior very Dark at all times of Day. Granted this Method is a bit clunky and has its own Problems (using the Terrain Tool multiple times to Carve out a space for the ride without intersecting with structures you put in the Ground ect...)
So yes, i would prefer a different way for the Game to handle all of this, but this is unlikely to happen. But given the options we have for that, i am currently content with those.

About those Seasons:

Well, this is not much of a Solution but: You can control the Number of People visiting your Park (if you play in Sandbox of course, i haven't played one of the other modes recently, so i don't know if you can do that in those). So if you see Winter approaching you can reduce the Guest Number, and pump it up again in Summer. But that is a lot of fiddling so yes, an option to do that automatically would be neat.

About the Thememakers Toolkit:

I can see why those restrictions are there. And once you have a good number of them you can see the Reason too: Since those Items do not exist in the Game itself it has to load each of these Objects into Memory every time it loads the Park. The more items the longer the Load time. It is that simple. There is no way around that, since like i said it is not drawing from a Pool of existing Assets of the Game. So if you loosen those restrictions you can Tank your Game very easily.

Free Content: Funny you mention that... There has been a TON of free Content before even the first DLC dropped.

Photo Points and onride Photos. The old Folks in this Forum will know, there was such a thing you mentioned for Planet Coaster 3. You could activate that you got Onride Pictures of certain Peeps you designated. The Drawback was, that it just filled up your Harddrive with Pictures... so i just ended up deactivating this Feature. Maybe a reworked Version of that would be neat.

Switch Tracks, yes! And while we are at it, Multiple Stations. (with a setting that you can designate a load and a unload station)

Transport: Well you can already kinda do that. You can build a Monorail that gets Peeps to your Hotels. It all has to be inside the Park though, and there is no Carpark to start with, but you can at least to 50% of what you asked already.

Larger Maps: They already increased the Size of the Maps a while ago, so i don't see them increasing the Size a second time. But you never know.
