Make profits by attracting more guests?

Please help! [cry]

I'm stuck in a campain because I can't earn enough money per mounth because there is nobody in my park! I can't have more than 600 guests!!
I actually own a good park rank, a lot of paths and attractions, my guests and staff are completely happy. Am I missing something??? [weird]

While I am on the subject, is it normal that when I sink to -$10,000 because of loans, I have no problem to surface, but I can though hardly have more than $1,000 ??? (don't look at the picture for this purpose, I was trying something [squeeeeee])

Are your rides very old?

How much are you charging to get in?

How much is each ride?

Do you have lots of un-needed staff?

Do you like Pizza?

The first thing I would suggest for that scenario is to sell the radius right at the beginning, it doesnt make enough profits

Then you can check that the rest of your rides are priced correctly, and have enough prestige. The prestige rating tell you how much guests are willing to pay for a ride. If you have a half star of prestige, you can charge $3 per rider, if a ride has 3 stars you can charge $18 and so

You can increase the prestige of rides by adding scenery, or increasing the ride animation sequence. There is a guide that lets you know the best animation sequences and price points for each ride, which can be found here http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=877268657

I usually dont change prices of shops, infact I would not recommend building many shops at all in scenario mode. You do want to make sure to have some ATMs, though dont expect them to make you rich as you have to leave them free for guests to use, and you can charge $1 for bathrooms.

You can charge a little for park admission, but its not really recommended for smaller parks

Don't hire to many employees, entertainers dont help with making profits, you can train employees if you want and raise their pay about $100-$150 if they are unhappy. Don't spend a lot of money on advertising, one small ad now and then is fine, but dont advertise for teens they carry less money

Security is kind of annoying right now, I think more balancing is needed with a patch. So you can disable security, otherwise you will need to place cameras all over and put a few guards on patrol by your park entrance.

Most of your questions can be found around the forums already, or by watching tutorials on youtube

Wow! So fast...

Some rides are 80 years old but always making money ^^ and others are very recent - I disabled the ride aging.

My rides own a prestige between 300 and 1000, and two of them are more than 950.

For all the staff I own, only one is sometimes complaining he has no work.

And finally, I LOVE pizza. What can I do now, more that eating a pizza?

Some rides are 80 years old

How did you play one scenario for so long? lol, you can beat every scenario in less than 2 years of game time. The way ride aging works is that when a ride is between 5-15 years old, its prestige rating drops and no guests will ride so you lose a lot of money. But once a ride is like 20-25+ years old it becomes classic and they make even more money. So you should be rolling in the dough at this point

I disabled the ride aging.
oh nevermind then

Okay, really thank you for trying to help me, but I think the real problem is the guests number. No matter how great are my rides, if there is nobody to come in, this is useless.
To attract people, I tried publicity campains, better park rank, more rides, even more paths, but the guests quantity didn't really change...
Is there any other ideas?

Based on your picture, I see you have a park rating of 2400 which is great, but your at negative $37,900 which is probably too far negative to recover from. It doesn't really make sense that you would have a park rating of 2400 but only 500-600 guests, especially if you are running ad campaigns... that shouldn't be.

From the picture I'm seeing about 9 flat rides 2 coasters and a river rapids... i think? thats quite a lot of rides and should be drawing in more guests. You don't have the "limit guests" option enabled do you?

At this point, with your negative profit margins, I would say you would probably be better off starting the scenario over, as I can't really see what you have done wrong here. But IMO I would say to delete the radius at the start and dont build a river rapids as its very expensive. I'll load up my park quick to see what I had, but I know I only had a few rides and beat the scenario in under 1 year by using the prestige pricing guide I posted above

heres my park, you can see how many rides I have

I deleted the radius and another ride I had next to the kickflip to afford the coaster (it was only july year 1)
Im only negative in cash cuz I just built the coaster

If I am so far in negative, that's because I was trying to see if having river rapids and some others rides would attract guests, but to surface, simply remove these rides makes earn again, and with the time, while I am not in positive, I can earn up to $2500/mounth.

I did'nt heard about a limit population. I'll take a look if this is the reason, but I don't think so, as my guest number is always moving.

With the update, maybe you're right, and I should restart the park. But all these problems are pretty weird.

Thank you!

I think everybody in this thread is forgetting the fact that you actually can't have more than 600 guests in this scenario, it just isn't possible. That's what the cap is set at.

So it could be that you just have too much ride and staff costs to get through this scenario at the moment.

Haha you're welcome. My tip would be when/if you restart, however you want to keep playing, cut back on the amount of rides because you will lose money on a lot because there are only so many rides 600 guests can cover effectively.

I found that the strategy of cranking up the ride prices as high as they will go (based on prestige) worked against me in this scenario. My guests spent their money too quickly and I was left with a park full of guests with no money, therefore not spending but not leaving either to allow fresh guests with full wallets to arrive. I'd have really good profits one month then make a loss for the next couple of months which killed the final objective of sustaining profit for 3 months.

Research and buy an ATM! This is allowed in this campain!
