Make Scan Request More Obvious

Today I did a mission to get some stuff from a locked box. I got scanned by the guards multiple times. Suddenly they started shooting at me. Then I was "dead". Looking back at my video recording I noticed that I have passed a guard which gave me a fine as I did not stop for the scan. It would therefore be great to get some audible feedback if a guard is trying to scan us. Some "hey you! stop" or "Please, stop for a scan!". Even if we walk on. They should speak up and give us a warning before handing out a fine. If this is not what you want to do, then make it more obvious that I'm now on the "wanted" list. So I can hide instead of approaching the next guard so he/she can scan me. ;-)

I haven't played much, but they do say to stop for a scan, but it can be very quiet. There may be a volume setting for this, but I haven't checked yet. But, yes, if they don't get your attention, then they should try a little louder, or maybe we can get an alert in our HUD.

They really need to up the NPC voice volume, I have it at max and I struggle to make it out. The info box notification of scan request needs to be more noticeable too.

Or make your screen flash soft blue for a second when they want or started scanning you giving the player a visual indication that a scan has started so that if player missed the audio que from npc player will still have know what's happening.

NPC volumes can be increased if you lower everything else and push global volume up a bit but I think they could probably do with a three strikes and you're out rule ..

1. please stop for scan
2. hey you. stop, immediately!
3. deadly force

i definitely think there should be more of a visual clue to getting targeted for a scan. Imagine how hard it must be for people who are deaf. (yes, deaf people play games too)

I am fully with you. I opened a post some time ago on the same topic.

They should give you a fine, turn red on the radar and then give you a grace time to approach them, pay your fine, endure a longer than normal scan and then get on your way with a stern warning. In short, the AI needs more of "STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM!".
