Make ships bought a bit more unique using ship kit bits and minor upgrades

We have pre-upgraded suits, could this specialness be spread jam like to ships?

Maybe sometimes dealerships have ships with a few G1 mods on, or have one part of a ship kit (i.e. one isolated part, unlike the 'zones' bought kits have) so ships are a bit more unique?

In lore vessels like Sidewinders and Eagles are ex surplus so it would be cool to have these old pennies mixed in with the 'pure stock'- newer ships like the Phantom not having this.

I like the suggestion in general!

But I think it needs to be a bit different from what we currently have with pre-upgraded suits. Not sure how it is for everyone else, but I tend to buy every pre-upgraded suit I see (at least 3 grade), but never use any other than top one.

Maybe it should be somehow combined with ability to SELL pre-upgraded ships (with some commission) to other players. E.g. I put my ship on sale at specific spaceport and tell my friend he can buy it there - until somebody else discovers and buys it earlier. Probably with certain time frame limit (e.g. 24 hours), after which the ship will be "sold" to NPC.
