Make the app useful

As it's described the app doesn't sound very useful. Stats won't change when I'm not playing and can be easily checked in-game.

What would be awsome though is system view and galaxy map. This way you can check them while i supercruise without flying blind. It should be tied to your accout so you can only see the same data as in the game.

Any other ideas for ways to add awsomesauce to the app?

Many people seem to use Roccat Power Grid for ED. I'd been wondering if Frontier might release their own app (with the same functionality) with the proper ED skin/style. It's all about the immersion, right...?
But that would be a separate app I guess.

I would like it to show me (via the markets section) the last x commodities screens of stations I have been to... just a capture, not live data, making it unreliable after time... Mind you I would like similar in-game too...

At the moment, since it doesn't refresh itself until you close the markets section, it's handy to see the commodities from the last station you were at, also handy for taking screenshots of such 'off-pc' so I don't have to alt tab out of the game any more, I can just fiddle around with my iPad and view my screenshots :)
