As a nod to Jurassic Park Operation Genesis. It's not really justifiably a late-game dinosaur anyway. Unlock in Matanceros, not Sorna.

It looks to have the highest social max of any dino and has really high space needs compared to the Ornithomimids. Otherwise it's Resilience and Lifespan are identical to a Struthiomimus. I'm guessing there's more gene slots for it, or at least you'd hope so for a Sorna dino. I guess the major thing is that they're really cheap, but that's not really a factor for late game. It's not about "greatest", they're actually some of the LOWEST.

In any case, I'd say a buff and price increase is more likely than changing when it's unlocked, as I'm not sure how that'd effect save files.
This game is also not a sequel to JPOG. The mere presence of the Dryosaurus is already a nod to JPOG.
In my experience, the researchable dinosaurs do end up getting randomized, but not all of them and not all the time, I think that is the randomness taking effect.I did try randomised digsites - they are randomised but dinosaurs who have to be researched arent affected in the same way.
Not all the time. But you still have to wait until the 3-4 stars in order to research them.
