make the security more tolerant in fight

When I fight against a ship sometimes the security engage and fly through my laserbeam.
then they start hunting me. But it is obviously their fault. They should be more tolerant in Battle with team hitting.

Its not "obviously" their fault lol. Its your fault. I never hit them when i fight. Then again i act responsible and look around me when fighting in tight places.

I'm half blind IRL and it makes dog-fighting really 'interesting' ;) lol! I don't always see other ships coming across my bow, like they want to get shot by me just so they can have a go at taking me down. I've learned to be less trigger happy and more careful with my shots, so I don't get into those situations quite as much anymore, but if I accidentally hit a Security Vessel I just jump out of the instance (USS or Nav). The ships stop being hostile most of the time, but if I ever become Wanted I just jump to the closest outpost and pay my tiny fine and return to whatever I was doing.
.
I must admit it would be nice if they gave you a little leeway in taking damage and not go hostile instantly. As FlyingBlind (I fly 'half-blind' hehe!) says, I think it has been looked into for an upcoming patch, v1.1 maybe?

I have had a few occasions when I have been in a firefight and had a Fed ship fly straight across my fire lane (and he could not say he didn't see it; 6 gimballed beam lasers clearly advertise their presence!). As a result I have had a wanted tag and a fine issued against me. I have suggested that a virtual 'no penalties' bubble be generated around a combat zone, to allow for accidental friendly fire. The two occasions that I could think of for fines (and wanted tags) to still be issued is when an authority vessel is targeted and then fired upon, or when a player has not got a vessel targeted, but opens fire on a vessel in front of them long enough for it to be considered a deliberate act.
I know that this is not real life, but (as I have said elsewhere on this forum) in real life no intelligent person would cross an active fire lane, and, if they did, they would accept the consequences and move on.

What I meant was a bubble be 'erected' whenever combat starts. This can be anywhere. Unless you turn off the 'report crimes against me' option the authorities WILL turn up (other than anarchy systems), and when they do they have no 'sense' of preservation, so they will fly across fire lanes. If I am at a Nav Beacon, and I take on a Wanted vessel, I don't want to be penalised because a blind NPC flew across my active fire lane (regardless of what type of weaponry was in use). OK, if I see them in time I will release the trigger, which then stops my 6 gimballed beam lasers firing, but what about kinetic weaponry with ordinance inbound? If it is a slow round it could take a couple of seconds for it to get to my target, and if (as things stand) an authority vessel were to then get hit by it then (again, as it stands) that is MY fault.
This is something FD is working on, as there have been numerous complaints about it.

But a nav beacon is a public place where you can't go around firing weapons without considering the danger to others (unless in an anarchy system). I think the current system is fair.

Here is a simple question. If you were in a dangerous area, and you could clearly see that there was a fire fight between two distinct locations, would you walk between those two areas? No? Neither would I, as I could not be certain that I would not get hit. At least the weaponry I use clearly advertises its' presence, and I only fire when I have a solid lock on my target. When I am not in a combat situation the weaponry is retracted, and only is deployed when I am certain combat is about to start. Any other vessels joining the combat needs to either keep clear of my fire lane, or to accept the consequence of crossing my fire lane.
Not so long ago I and two other commanders (both in Eagles) took down a wanted Anaconda at a Nav Beacon. It was a very satisfying fight, nobody took friendly fire, and we worked together as a team (I, with my Asp acting as the heavy artillery taking down the shields and armour, they with surgical strikes on specific sub systems). What made it even better was that there were no suicidal NPC vessels getting in the way.

It is. The vocal minority scream about it, though, because they don't like being accountable for their actions :p

Tolerant of being shot?

Im happy with the current system as it gives a little more interest to combat when there are friendlies around.
And i have no problem doing xombat without hitting the allied ships so i cant understand what all these people are whining about.

Buuut...being hit with a shot or two when your shield is active would be like having jellybeans thrown at your car while driving down the street. Its a rude act, but in no way dangerous to the pilot.
In fact, if the ship didnt tell you you where hit you probably wouldnt even know it.
