I'm fairly certain that ACU choppers are vulnerable now, but I can't imagine what would hurt them except extreme weather or huge dinosaurs.
I hope twisters still happen where it's logical they'd happen. Are there still twisters? I thought they said they moved away from that and more into biome-specific disasters like Blizzards and sandstorms.
Applied as global numeric modifiers to maps?Small dinosaurs being more prone to hypothermia and having higher food requirements in cold weather. Blizzard making everyone hungry as they burn more energy to keep warm.
Large dinosaurs being more prone to heatstroke and having higher water requirements in hot weather. Sand storms / heatwaves make increase thirst driving everyone to the water hole at once.
Agreed, but I also hope they happen with a more “realistic” frequency. In the old game, it felt like as soon as I got my park back in running order the next one would hit. I’m from the American mid-west so I know a bit about them in real life. Maybe in-game up Intensity of destruction but significantly decrease frequency.I hope twisters still happen where it's logical they'd happen.
That would be one way, have it be a modifier that exponentially scaled with the size/weight of a dinosaur to account for the cube squared law, and linearly with environmental temperature / biome. Could also have it spike during extreme temperature events at the park. Both thirst and hunger would be affected for all dinosaurs. Hunger is increased if they are too cold and thirst if they are too hot. This would naturally push the way I stated before the small cold, large hot.Applied as global numeric modifiers to maps?
Doubt they’d do that imagine what people would do decapitate brachiosaurus squishing compysMaybe now we can hurt dinosaurs with the chopper/ranger car?
I mean we can with tranquilizers. Not sure they will give us an elephant gun like Roland Tembo, except maybe as some lost world DLC.Maybe now we can hurt dinosaurs with the chopper/ranger car?
I mean by ramming into them.I mean we can with tranquilizers. Not sure they will give us an elephant gun like Roland Tembo, except maybe as some lost world DLC.
Oh, gotcha, yeah that would be cool if it causes things like broken bones that then would require you to send out a med team. The only problem I could see is sometimes the AI is not the best driver. So would be a fan of player-driven vehicles that cause injury but not sure about AI. I would be annoyed if I had to constantly deal with injured dinos because the ranger team heading out to a recon point or tour busses kept running into things they should avoid.I mean by ramming into them.
I would be cool with it if I only saw one every 30 hours of gameplay at normal speed. My problem with the storms was their frequency.Of course the twisters and tropical storms will still be in, they'll be for specific biomes now, while other disasters are in other biomes. And no thank you, that nonsense was horrible on Operation Genesis and I do not want it in Evolution, especially when it happens in Jurassic difficulty Challenge Mode.
