Make world more realistic, more live...

Hello Commanders.
Does anyone know, when Elite will become more LIVE? For example, when you are going to land to the station, there will be walking people around, like in trailers...
This game is amazing, but sometimes is feeling, that you are alone in space, or every station does not have population. Only ships. It's not enouph i think, when you read about star system, and there is written, that population is 3.3 billion people... Where are they?

be patient, to add these features will take alot of effort. lets just worry about having the ability to play with friends first. then adding a bit more content. it's not like there are 3,000 employees at frontier, they are trying their best to get as much out as possible. then they can release good Payed expansions to help pay for more features. Getting a first person aspect in this game will no doubt take months. do you want them to stop everything and start working on that now? are you going to be ok with the current state of content and functionality for 7 months with no changes until the first person aspect?

I feel ya bro! The game does indeed feel devoid of life a lot of the time. The game does a good job of creating an atmosphere, but it only carries it so far. I'd like to see actual shipyard structures outside main stations, with busy little construction drones whizzing about. Little traffic control guys guiding you into land with their little shiny ping pong bats. Visible pilots in NPC ships, trams moving folk from the landing pads to the ship interior... just life.

Having just spent two to three weeks on the rim, I am not suprised there was nobody around when I landed. My asp needs a shower attachment.

You didn't really think those 3.3 billion people live in the space station, did you?

Great example of where those people are. Go find a nice agriculture planet, fly around to the darkside of the planet, and there you will find your people.
All the houses and Streets on the planet nicely lit up. A gorgeous thing to behold!

But yeah, some of those people live on the station as service crew.
And yeah sometimes I too would like to walk inside that little tower besides the landing bay to smack up that drunken operator who failed to activate the landing sequence :p
