Make your own Europe/Eurasia 5-pack

4+1 (Europe) :
Alpine Ibex
Red Deer
Crested Porcupine
Eurasian Lynx
Fire Salamander (Exhibit)

+3 (Animal Pack):
Wild Boar
European Badger
Red Fox
These three additions would be ideal to make something like a German Wildpark.

To be mentioned:
Alpine marmot
Dalmatian Pelican
Wolverine
Grey Heron
European Hare

Eurasian animal pack (eurasia normal pack would disappoint me a little big) :
Alpine Ibex
Red Deer
Crested Porcupine
Eurasian Lynx
Amur Leopard
Przewalski Horse
Saiga

What I personally do not want to have:
European Otter ( I would prefer the Asian small clawed Otter)
Wisent (for me they are to similar to the Bison)
European Brown Bear (Would be the worst, we already have two brown bear sub species. I would understand every american to be disappointed who did not get their American black bear which is in contrast a separate bear species)

This is probably not a lineup that would satisfy most people.

Alpine Ibex
Alpine Marmot or European ground squirrel
Barbary Macaque
Dalmatian or Great White Pelican
Fire Salamander

Some reasons behind it.
Currently I would rather see more rodents and monkeys before more carnivores.
While I would like more deer, I wouldn't priorities European species here since the two we already got are both found in Europe. Would prefer some Asian deer.
We need a pelican and a Salamander!

My Mediterranean approach:
  • African Crested Porcupine
  • Persian Fallow Deer
  • Iberian Lynx
  • Eurasian Otter
  • Common Chameleon (exhibit)
Animal that i dont want: Red f*x

If it's a generic European Scenery Pack with a Mediterranean Building Set/Theme, I would love the following lineup:
  • Alpine Ibex
  • European Badger (or Crested Porcupine - Wolverine would be fine as well, but only my third choice)
  • Eurasian Lynx
  • Red Deer (or European Fallow Deer)
  • Fire Salamander or European Green Lizard (exhibit animal)
If we also could have birds in there, I would love White Stork or Great White Pelican, but I wouldn't really know what to exclude from the pack out of my list above.

The animals I most hope to see in European dlc:
  • African crested porcupine
  • European fallow deer / Red deer
  • Eurasian lynx
  • Wild boar or Red fox
  • Fire salamander

I would really love to see a Europe scenery pack, introducing:
-Alpine Ibex
-Crested Porcupine
-Eurasian Lynx
-Pacific Walrus
-Fire Salamander (Ex)

Alternatively, a Eurasian animal pack, introducing:
-Przewalski’s Wild Horse
-Eurasian Lynx
-Eurasian River Otter
-Alpine Ibex
-Crested Porcupine
-Pacific Walrus
-Wolverine
-Fire Salamander (Ex)

The next DLC will probably be a scenery pack, but I'm not too sure if it's really gonna be a Europe pack (it would make sense, but I wouldn't use the pictures of the restaurant as an indication). If we end up getting a Europe pack for now, I would believe we would get these species:
  • Alpine Ibex
  • Eurasian lynx (Iberian would be possible too, but I still prefer the Eurasian, as it is also a big conservation history in Central Europe)
  • Red deer
  • Wolverine (probably it will be an Eurasian badger, but I think it's more interesting to build habitats for wolverines)
  • Fire salamander (that would be the best option, IMO. Specially to talk a bit about Bsal, which is treating almost all salamander species)
I wouldn't have any problem in changing the red deer for an bird, specially waterfowl or a Dalmatian pelican would be awesome. And get an other deer in an Asia pack (I still think this kind of pack will come, it doesn't make sense to made it specifically SEA if there wasn't the intention to make a general or an other regional pack).

This is my basic 4+1 Europe Pack:
Alpine ibex - This is by far my most-wanted European ungulate; it would add another mountain-dwelling animal to the game.
Eurasian red squirrel - Now smaller mammals have been confirmed for the game, I think one that can climb would be fantastic; I have seen some very impressive walk-through enclosures for these animals in zoos here in the UK.
Iberian lynx - I wouldn't mind a Eurasian lynx or even a European wildcat instead, but this is a smaller, rarer and, to my eyes at least, more attractive looking animal.
Pelican - There is the Dalmatian (bigger, rarer, more closely associated with Europe) or great white (more colourful, has a broader geographical range) to choose from; I wouldn't mind either species.
Fire salamander - It would add a completely new group of animals to the game and could also have a new temperate exhibit added to suit it.

If an extra 3 animals had to be added for an Animal Pack:
European badger or Eurasian otter - The badger would add a completely new type of mustelid to the game but the otter has its charms as well, being the most widespread of all otters and the only animal that could inhabit all seven current in-game biomes.
European brown hare - I think almost no animal has the cultural importance in Europe as the hare. I would possibly accept the European rabbit or mountain hare instead; this would also add a completely new group of mammals to the game.
Fallow deer - The most commonly-kept deer in European zoos (in fact, the third most commonly-kept of any zoo animal at all, according to Zootierliste) that is different in size and appearance to either of the deer already in the game.

I think Northern and Central Asia almost deserves a pack of its own, especially if the Himalayas was included in such a pack. This would be my plan for a 7+1 animal pack:
Amur leopard - The most-requested and probably the rarest of the leopard subspecies that is also quite commonly kept; the Persian leopard could also fit into this pack.
Baikal seal - Could be an interesting choice - they are the only truly freshwater seal and are also one of the smallest, being about the same length as a Nile monitor lizard.
Bar headed goose - The most commonly-kept exotic goose species in Europe with a broad range of habitats across Asia that would add a lot to both mixed-species exhibits and ornamental lakes.
Golden takin - Although three different takin subspecies are kept in zoos, I have chosen the golden on account of its bright colouration and its shared range with the giant panda.
Himalayan monal pheasant - Would add a welcome splash of colour to the game and would add a bird of the taiga biome which is currently completely unrepresented in the game.
Przewalski's horse - Another species quite high on the meta wishlist that would really help represent the steppe habitats of Central Asia and would add a second species of equine to the game.
Yellow throated marten - Goes without saying, really. By far and away my most wanted animal in the game that would add a brightly coloured climbing species to this pack and one that is tolerant of all forest biomes.
Horsfield's tortoise - A quite commonly-kept species of smaller tortoise endemic to the grasslands and deserts of Central Asia; although they are often kept outdoors there are not many other possible exhibit species for this pack.
