Just found the text-2-speech feature yesterday, so as far as I can tell, VA offers everything needed to make a custom profile including audio responses.

I think I'm looking at a big project ahead of me, and I've never done something like this, but the idea of having a unique voice pack with bespoke content is attractive.

While I'm here, I'm thinking of adding a "Tell me a joke" command, with a number of corny one-liners added to a pool of responses.

Any jokes you guys can give me?

I'll start: Dark humour is like food. Only some people get it.*

*Not my joke but it's one of my favourites.

I figured I could add the sales blurb from each ship and add a "Tell me about [ship]" command.

The foundation is done!

My game should respond to basic voice commands now. :)

Will expand on it further tomorrow. Tonight I need to test that the basic inputs work.
