It would be cool to add, in the way you've done with comms outside stations, to change messages you get from npc's like police or smugglers attacking your ship, to send a voice message instead of just a text message, perhaps these could be turned on or off, but it would make it feel like there were actually people out in the galaxy. Perhaps at some point these could even be videos.
