Making the System Map more functional (and better)

One of the irritations I have been experiencing is the functionality (or lack thereof) of the System Map. While I like being able to see the data for various stations there, I believe that a lot can be done to improve its functionality. I would make the following suggestions:

1. Allow players to target specific astronomical objects to jump to rather than defaulting to the star in that system for every system. For those of you who like supercruise...well, you can keep jumping to the sun, and have at it. For those of us who hates spending the next 10 minutes trying to get to a station 110,000Ls from the star in that system JUST so you can switch ships (since there's no way you can pay someone to move your ships, apparently), we should be able to jump to the astronomical object in question by simply targeting it from our system data.

As a side benefit, this also further rewards exploration, and makes system data more viable to buy.

2. If the player has purchased "Trade Data" allow the player to then access the commodities market from stations in that system, from the system map. This will allow us to make more intelligent decisions on what to buy, and where to ship it for selling. I am aware of the dropdown list on the commodities market where you can select specific systems, but, quite frankly, it does not really give you enough information to turn consistent profits.

3. Rename the "Exit" button to say "Galaxy Map", and then add an "Exit" button that will do just that. It's annoying to get sent to the Galaxy Map when all you really want to do is exit out of it entirely.

4. Implement some kind of system to either highlight or filter out some things. For example, if I only want to see stations that have shipyards, then they should be appropriately indicated. If I would like to see only stations with industrial economies...again, either find a way that I can select filters to highlight those stations, or filter them out of the visual results entirely.

Those are the main ideas...hope they get read by Frontier staff, and at least gain some kind of consideration or response. These enhancements would only improve the game, imho.

Regards,
Beemer
