Man enough to admit it, I'm starting to have fun again.

FD, yeah I spit fire and there are still, IMO, a lot of issues to handle, but between the typoon of release to now you have helped me finally think there is a good end to the tunnel.

While APEXing from dock to dock looking for upgrades (which in itself is a great launch perk, FD) I also played with the commander and camera controls and on one Apex jump from a station far from it's sun to one near I put the camera behind and a bit above and just enjoyed the ride. It finally showed me what this environment design was about and it was stunning on that tag along ride. Sure I still believe interiors are way over on contrast, and don't get me started on the background stars because that has a long way to go, but that ride view from behind, approaching the sun, was amazing, FD.

No I'm not totally sold and lured back, but it is a start. That and being able to Apex or personal ship travel without CDTs shows FD is hunting their quarry.

Thanks for the fun today, FD, now fix the rest of it, please.

I find it relaxing to take a string of collection missions (e.g. for Inf+) and then Apex from one to the next. While at the settlement I 'acquire' a few items on my way in and out, and there have been times when I've gone the whole hog: cloning an ID, then disabling the alarms and stealing the power regulator.

It's a fun way to gather some goodies.

I'm thoroughly enjoying my exploration traveling out to the middle of nowhere looking around for plants and trying to get good screenshots, except for one thing. IT'S SO BLOODY DARK! The skybox changes break my heart. Nebulae are so dim they're black in places, the Milky Way is an amorphous orange smear. I hope they don't drag their feet and let it remain so for weeks (or forever).
