Maneuverability

Just purchased a shiny new Asp with average upgrades, and it seems to be far more maneuverable than a full spec cobra. Anyone else notice that the paper stats don't quite tally up?

It may spin on the spot as fast or faster than a cobra, but it's not just about that... how tight of a curve can it fly in without sliding sideways. Lets just say flying a nice arc into a station at full throttle in a viper is easy, in a cobra it's still predictable, in an ASP it's a possible death sentance, because you slide a LOT. very sluggish to change trajectory to accelerate/decellerate. but the thing can rotate very quickly.

It get's more complicated than simply saying one ship is far more maneuverable than another (at least for med/large ships) , my clipper for example is less powerful in vertical thrust than my fully laden Type-9.

They all have their strengths and weakness, therefore require different flying styles

It is a bit of a sluggish to accelerate due to its added mass but I do love its rotation, you do have a point though :)
