Map of locked and reserved star systems and regions?

Just watched the kickstarter video from 2012 in which David Braben suggested that players would create a map of locked/reserved star systems and regions.

I tried to find if such a map of the Milky Way existed, but I could not - perhaps my Google Fu is just weak today.

So, does anybody have something like this?

The closest I know of is (spoilers, obviously) this thread detailing permit systems and sectors.

At DISC we're working on an overall map of sectors in the galaxy (there are several groups doing similar things!), I could superpose the permit sectors onto that for illustration if there's no better map.

Gimme half an hour or so, I'll see what I can do.

(eta - got to do RL stuff, will look again later)

If you follow the Sector Map link in my sig and look at the -1 plane, I've highlighted the proc-gen sectors containing known permit sectors (except Regor which is right next to Sol, and the Bubble Nebula which is listed in the Permit list but doesn't seem to require a permit these days) in pink, with the notes on them indicating which permit sectors are there.
The distribution is interesting.

That spreadsheet is amazing, if I zoom to 40% it indeed looks like the map I was thinking of.

Is there a legend which shows what the other colours mean?

For the most part the colours show only the stages in which data was added - just a quick reference so we know what was added when - it could do with cleaning up to be honest! We've been trying to understand the way that the names are generated and ordered but it's very complex. Fun though. :)
