Map sizes

I would like to know if we got any detailed info concerning map sizes in JWE2 yet. I think it was mentioned by Frontier that they would be bigger somewhere, but I can't remember where. And also how much bigger will they be? Will their sizes differ between the modes?

I would really appreciate some info about this topic.

I have seen them mention some maps will be bigger then the first games' islands. I am hoping for a nice mix of small maps, medium-ish sized and sprawling ones personally but no we haven't received any definite information, I'm also not sure how they would describe the size of the maps to us, I believe we'll just have to wait for the game's release.
We have seen only smaller or restricted maps so far in a campaign map, a challenge map and the info videos they release, the map from this week's park management guide looks very small.

That's what worries me. All the maps so far didn't seem bigger to me...
The sizes of JWE2 maps compared to the first game could be described as "double as big" or along those lines for instance.
Hopefully Jens can give us at least a bit of info concernig this

30% bigger is a number I recall, I have no idea where it came from (if anywhere), or if it's in any way accurate.

Evolution Square has an interesting theory on the games map sizes. They might be limited in campaign and then get bigger for challenge and sandbox mode. It's an interesting idea. Dynamic maps that change size depending on the mode you play. Maybe they change size in the campaign as well?

It would be a interesting way to handle the size of the maps.
