Mapping all controls to an xbox controller

I have the 40 most used key presses mapped. It's quite a fuddle though. Basically I use the four lettered buttons, one for fighting, for ship management, for flight and the last for sensors, all tripple mapped.

Looks way too complicated to me.
Why would you need to do all that work when the context sensitive menus cover most of the options.
The rest you just map to dual button input.
Simple is fast,simple is efficient.

I have the Elite controller and those rear paddles make getting to context menus a doddle without taking thumbs off sticks plus double button combos for things like chaff are excellent and fast.
