I'm planning on fighting some Thargoids this week, but hadn't unlocked the Guardian technology I needed to kit out my Krait. I was short on the Pattern data you get from scanning obelisks.
So, I headed out to Col 173 Sector QU-O D6-25 and headed down to the ruins on planet 5B. I started with the first and moved on to the second, and as I went round the ruins I marked the location of each obelisk using my tracker. Took a while to locate them all, but once done I had a route that I could use essentially as GPS. I've managed to capture the HUD that I have in VR as well. This also means that I can drive around without night vision (which I much prefer).
This could potentially be done for all the ruins, and if anyone is interested I can share the route I created for these two (it can be loaded in the tracker). I find it a lot easier than following a map. I'm planning on doing the same for some Guardian sites, but I don't have any reason to visit them in the near future.
