Maps for the visitors

As I play more and more of the alpha, and look at everyone's awesome videos, it seems that a ton of people are enjoying the modular building, and are theming areas of the park. I was wondering if it would be possible for the player to zoom out, take a screenshot of the park, and edit it by putting icons and labels on it and perhaps put a colored hue on it. Doing so, can possibly benefit the AI so you know where the players wants the peeps to go (e.g. larger text means that's where they "should" go, and if there are thought bubbles, they can be thinking "I'm heading to xyz area").

And then as part of the animation you can see some guests pull out the map. It might be a useful tool for people to share what their park looks like before any of us have to download it to check it out.

e.g. maps like this: http://www.wdwinfo.com/Disneyland/images/disneyland-halloween-map-2012.jpg

I think a system like that may be a little difficult to implement, but it would be really cool to have a park map shop where we could upload our own file and when they get the map out, it would show our uploaded image.

I agree with this idea/suggestion. The park map has been a staple of every park I have ever been to. It is fun to go back and look at the old maps from years before newer rides were added. I think it would be great if the game had this, or even if the game switched to a park map for quick navigation when you zoomed out or pressed a key. On a side note I play Cities: Skylines and you are able to draw in areas (much like a terrain tool) that have unique areas. Each area can be named and can be assigned its own rules. It would be great if you could draw in areas and call it "Italy" or "Germany" when you make your theme park. As TheLighterDark mentioned, this might be a difficult thing to implement but it really creates a new game instead of just another RollerCoaster Tycoon.
