Marco Qwent not sharing information about Professor Palin.

Needed conditions are met — I have Qwent at level 3. Its been 2 days now since I leveled him and still he didnt tell me about Palin. Ive also traveled more than enough light years from starting system to get professor Palin's interest. Nothing works.

What am I missing? Wikis and other sources says all I need is just Qwent's level 3 to get to know about Palin.

Did you just go over the edge into level 3? From memory they cough up any contact for other engineers about halfway through level 3.

I did. Ill try pushing further later. If you right about that Ill be kinda mad about misleading information in so many guides.

I think Red's right. It's been a few years for me too, but I think Inara shows Palin invitation as "between grades 3 and 4" with Marco. Inara's down at the mo so I cannot check. Just go back to him, engineer something a bit and it should unlock, but may take a re-log to pop.

This link says "achieve greater than level 3"

Go sell him some commodities, or if your ship doesn't need any more engineering there, just mod some throw away module or mod it and then ship it home.
