Engineers Marco Qwent selling pre-engineered Multicannons?

Maybe this is widely known, but I've never seen someone selling the exact same multicannon but with different stats [Edit: I'm a dumbass - it's not the same - doh. Move along, nothing to see...]. Yet the 3C Gimballed Multicannon that Marco Qwent sells at his base has different stats to the one I've got fitted:

So I have a 3C gimballed cannon like this:

But the one Qwent is selling differs like this to the one I'd bought (which is stock - hasn't been engineered):

I've not seen this before. Is it standard that engineers sell variations of items? I always thought a 3CG multicannon would be exactly the same wherever I bought it (apart from price)? Do all engineers do this?

Not sure if I read that right or know how all the numbers and stuff but is marco selling an armour piercing canon? A really bad one come to think of it.
