Marcus Qwent fixed in 2.3 beta?

Not sure if this is the correct place on the forum
For this but can anyone tell me if the marcus qwent invite is fixed is the 2.3 beta?

I only have limited gametime and have already spent 2 hours or so (50% of my weekly gametime) board flipping in Sirius to get the mission with no luck.

Thanks

We won't know until the live version comes out. For now it works, but it is still a matter of luck.
If I were you, I wouldn't bother with him and Palin at all. If you have such a limited game time, just enjoy yourself. Do what ever. Getting frustrated by one station when you have the whole galaxy to see is kind of a shame.

Can't comment on 2.3 but I had this problem. I found the invite was reliably sent from the outpost in the system, the main stations never seemed to offer it.

It's possible that this is buggy behaviour triggered by Sirius Corp no longer being the controlling faction, but nothing confirmed. Good luck [up]

I didn't have that much issue either and I did most of my missions with Boone Station, an outpost in Avik. Not sure if that helps you. I also continued to do missions with the Sirius Corp after becoming allied with them while tracking down the modular terminals.

Sirius has been working all the time!! Do the all the missions, go to the out post, do another mission, it WILL pop there, dont stay at the big station, you MUST move. This has worked for 95 % so far. I too was baffled at first, but pop it went.

Cheers Cmdr's

after getting allied go to the outpost not the station. I forgot the names sry. that's what I did for mine and it was just a few weeks ago.

Took me about an hour to get the mission. I got it at the Coreolis station after switching modes a couple of times. You don't have to go to all the stations, just stay in the one you are.

I read somewhere that more missions are generated than the mission board is able to display, this also introduces other mission availability behavior. I think the mission is always there, but not always displayed because there are too much factions missions available. If the last number drops under a certain amount, it will appear. Or not... just my $ 0.02 :)

got mine in procyon
done alot of missions just to get it
O yeah nice move devs
Remember this when you do the missions DO NOT SELL THE MODULAR TERMINALS !!!!!
You need 25 modular terminals at the end when you are finnally at his location
i did not know so now i am strugling again

Procyon gives the Sirius permit - presumably that's what you mean?

I picked up the mission for Qwent at the main coriolis system in Sirius, but it took three weeks. One day, after visiting beta, I found six missions, one of which was the Qwent mission.

All i can say is, hang in there and keep trying. But it looks like an improvement will come with 2.3, so the advice to go and do something else makes sense. Since you are now allied to Sirius corp, some of the missions sponsored by them pay quite a nice sum, so it's worth doing those to build up your cash while you are waiting.
