Market at a refinery system.

I bought some some resonating separators and it doesn't matter where I got to sell them it is always going to be at a loss of 250 credits. Which is around 1000 credits below the gal average. The market wants to buy them at 5750, but the gal avg is 6097 yet the systems are in need of the items by around 4000 units.

Something is amiss here.

Last lot I sold I made a few hundred per ton (about 6-800 as I recall) - Sold them at Groombridge 1618, at Gernsbach (I think that was the name, 1st station anyhow) which is an industrial station. Current buy price in Spring Gateway (where I just docked for the night) is 5482, a slightly old price for Phra Mool (Dalton Orbital) is 6653.

From your opener it looks like you are trying to sell into refineries, whilst it's refinery stations that make them - hence a loss (the sell-buy spread)....try going to an industrial station...

High tech stations make/sell the Resonating Separators. Refineries buy them in.

Just had the same issue with Palladium trying to sell it at a industrial plant they are asking for 5000 units and are buying it below the galactic average. Which means where ever you buy from its going to make a loss at that station. I managed to sell the resonating separators at a different industrial space station for a profit.
