Market disappears from station after civil war?

I looked through the pinned guides and I could not find anything related to this so hopefully I am not making a mistake by asking this. My player faction recently won tla civil war in our home system which resulted in is taking over a planetary starport. Now this starport had a commodity market before the civil war and is a colony economy. After we won the civil war the commodities market completely disappeared from the station services panel. Is this a normal thing in the BGS? If so can it come back? Our faction was corporate while the last owner was a dictatorship.

Certain stations don't have commodity markets as default.

If a faction which opens black markets captures one of those stations, it opens a normal commodity market too.
If the station is later captured by a faction which closes black markets (and typically corporates do) then the commodity market will also disappear.

Slightly unusual that the dictatorship you took it from had kept the black market open, but not unheard of.

Thanks for your reply! This is probably what happened since neither faction was in lockdown when we took control or afterwards.
