Hi.
I have just read that thread and there are now custom 4.0 binds files as well as 3.0 files. I presume that these relate to odyssey.
I do not know if you can still edit the OP in that thread, especially since the thread itself is locked.
Thanks again.
Remember - Oddity calls 4 binds in its startup - the fourth is for on-foot. I find that even though I use the same name for my real-game binds (3.0) and the Oddity one (4.0) - if I do any on-foot at all then going back into Horizons I am left in "default context" controls. I just have to re-select my binds name from the drop-down list.
Note that the on-foot defaults to something else when going the other way ("control pad" in my case) - so I created a separate binds file to let me use the controls I want on foot (a mixture of M&K and controller) - "mousey pad".
So, basically switching between the real game and Oddity and vice versa requires re-selecting one name from the drop-down each time (one for Horizons and one for the on-foot block of Oddity controls).
Why they couldn't find a way to use a different StartPreset.start for the two games is beyond me. But then again with the obvious inc**p**ence on show there I should not be surprised - I mean still no "save as" nearly six years into the game.
(I have to asterisk that word as apparently suggesting F D is "that" can result in obtaining an infraction on the forum. ! )
