Hi,

Plot where you want to go.

Before pressing the plot button you can change the cargo amount on the slider bottom left.

Also this is useful:

Thanks for this, so simple when someone shows it!

I like the fuel scoop, but with my simple sidewinder, it took away my cargo space I think, so I got rid of it. I`ll try and get it back when I get a bigger ship.

Apropos the galaxy map, has anyone ever come up with an actual statement as to what those arcs above the systems/nodes actually are? I have asked numerous times but never received a satisfactory answer.

Hmm, no idea, I guess they are there to highlight the star and make it more obvious. Never heard of them having a purpose tbh.

I think it simply means "System"
When you are looking at the realistic map (As you do very often while exploring) the map shows all stars of the system in their relative distances. Sometimes the stars are quite a way away from each other, so this arc tells you they belong to one system.

There was a nice use for this back in a day when Disco scanners didn't have unlimited range. You would look on the gal map and tried to find a system that is in the direction of secondary star, target it and then SC'd in that general direction until you ran into the star you were looking for.

This branch of "true" exploration is dead, nowadays, sadly.
