Example: Imperial Cutter (MLF 27) interdicting an Anaconda (MLF 24).
Compare this to Anaconda (MLF 24) interdicting a viper Mk3 (MLF 7)...
Is it the case that the bigger a difference between the mass-lock factors of the participating ships (assuming the MLF of the attacker is the greater), the easier it is for the attacker to pull the pursued ship out of FTL?
Would I be safer in my Cutter than (for example) in my Anaconda? Or are there other factors such as ship maneuverability and whatnot at play as well? The Type 9 has a huge mass-lock factor, but it's also allegedly a pig to escape interdictions in.
What say you, interdicting types?
