Mass Lock on Boost Button (PS4)

Hi, is it possible to get mass locked on the boost button. As this button on the PS4 is actually used for landing gear, its possible (which i have done myself) that you can accidently boost while in space station as you are launching or docking.
When you get Lag, you think you have held O and pressed down, only to find you have boosted !.

I still do this on the PC, if the game stutters when I'm docking.
My gear is B+DPad Down on my gamepad. Boost is also B. PDad down is equal pip distribution.

Sometimes it just doesn't register the combo, and I boost and equal out my pip distribution instead. Lol

But unfortunately, not being able to boost near a dock is far worse than accidentally boosting. Sometimes you need a quick exit, or entry for smuggling. Or because you're impatient. Like me.

If you do boost by accident, just stick 4 pips to shields for the likely "bump" you'll have, and retry lowering your gear, which forcibly slows you down anyway.

We had this problem over on Xbox for ages til customizable controls came along.
Now I'm assuming you're using the ds4 so what I did was set my undercarriage to LB+RB. Which I think is R1+L1 on ds4 so if you miss your combination all you get is a slight increase/decrease in speed

I had to futz with controller mappings for a long time just to get really going with this game. I use the XBox Elite controller, so I have a weird setup because of the paddles.

Anyway, solution to this seems to be to remap your controls. I'm sure there's a more out of the way key combo you can sort landing gear under. Or a context menu?
