Mass-lock?

I thought there was a mass-lock thing, where you would be pushed out of frameshift if you where to close to something.
Well, just now I had the second time where I got out of frameshift mode, only to end up inside the structure of the station, thereby losing my ship and cargo.
I navigate normally as close to the station as possible, reducing speed as necessary, and press 'c' to drop out of frameshift close by. With 'close by', I'd like to have 20-40km, not inside the structure...

I'm happy when the docking computer finally will be available...

they changed the blue "drop zone", not sure if that is causing you problems. Mass lock is something different - it prevents you starting up frameshift

ok, the blue 'Safe disengage' is the solution. I thought this meant 'the speed is now slow enough to safe drop out', so I didn't have to press the 'c' key twice...

But 20km dropout when I'm closer than 1000km is nice...

I used to try to get as close as possible when leaving super-cruise but got too close to the station (thankfully never inside it). I am usually leaving super-cruise around the 500km - 1000km range.
