Mass locked

I am thrilled to finally play the beta! :D

But there is one tiny thing that keeps annoying me:

When I leave a station and want to hyperjump to a new destination, I turn to my new target and speed up. Then I keep eyeing the “Mass locked”-light and impatiently wait until it goes off.

The moment it goes off I immediately hit the hyperjump-button BUT receive the red alert message, that I cannot jump, because my ship is mass locked/frameshift not online.

Then I have to wait 2 seconds and then I can finally hyperjump.

Probably you will say: “Than just wait the f…. 2 seconds impatient jerk!”, but shouldn’t the “Mass locked”-light and the hyperjump engine be matched on each other?

Or am I missing something?
 
I noticed that as well. Should we raise a ticket for that?
Since I started using Voice Attack there is small delay after I say "Engage" so I don't notice it now.

Yes, I've experienced the same. It's come up a few times on the forums. Hopefully it'll be addressed soon.
 
i've also seen this but its much more noticeable with slower ships, the faster ones pass the mass lock point a lot quicker so you only see it if you're ready on the HS key.

as others have said it just needs a little tuning, has anyone confirmed this is on the known issues list? I've seen it brought up in the forums a number of times but not seen anyone mention putting in a ticket.
